We are Christ-centered and in all we do, we serve the Lord.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
We believe in reflecting God’s love to our brothers.
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Romans 12:10,13
We believe that prayer is central to our fellowship.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
We believe in the unity of the body of Christ.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:3-6
We believe in sharing the gifts given to us by a loving Savior.
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
We believe in walking alongside our brothers in a spirit of humility.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12
We believe we are charged to help every man reach his potential.
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
We recognize and honor that within our shared faith we may have differences. MRC volunteers will focus our efforts entirely on these statements of faith to reflect the love of Christ and avoid bringing dogmatic, cultural or political differences into our work together
